Bessies comfort blanket is directly inspired by one of my Granny's original Oxfam blankets.
She knitted and donated many blankets to Oxfam, hopeing they would bring comfort to starving orphans.
You can make this Cirles as large or small as you wish.
The pattern can be mad using a selection of our Sock or DK yarns and is perfect for using up odd skeins and left over balls.
The Bessie in the photograph has been made by a team of loyal Bessie devotees, who helped me crochet all the squares in less than a month.
